On May 15, the procurement of PV module equipment for Phase II (290 MW) of the 600,000 kW PV project of Guoneng Midong District by Xinjiang Electric Power Urumqi PV Company was terminated.

The announcement stated that during the project period, due to significant fluctuations in the market prices of PV modules, the tendering process for this project was terminated.

According to the tender documents, the bid inviter for this project was Guoneng Xinjiang Ganquanpu Integrated Energy Co., Ltd., and the project entity was Guoneng Urumqi PV Power Generation Co., Ltd. The scope of the tender was the procurement of PV module equipment for Phase II (290 MW) of the 600,000 kW PV project in Guoneng Midong District, involving the supply of no less than 491,526 N-type 590 Wp and above monocrystalline silicon bifacial double-glass PV modules with a supply capacity of no less than 290 MWp.
