Indonesia's Tin Ingot Exports Surge 58% YoY in April Despite Monthly Decline

According to data released by Indonesia's Ministry of Trade on tin exports by quantity and value to major countries in April: Total exports fell 15.8% MoM to 4,866 mt, but rose 58% YoY. Exports to Singapore increased 11.7% MoM to 1,307.81 mt, while exports to China fell 16.2% MoM to 1,029.45 mt. According to SMM, some Indonesian tin ingots were still imported into China in May, and overall import volumes are likely to remain stable.
