This week, the prices of lithium battery separator materials remained stable. The mainstream quotations for wet-process separators of 5um/7um/9um were 1.59 yuan, 0.82 yuan, and 0.75 yuan, respectively. The mainstream quotations for dry-process separators of 12um/16um were 0.46 yuan and 0.43 yuan, respectively. Since the post-Lunar New Year period, separator enterprises have maintained a strong sentiment for price increases. Currently, as negotiations for orders are underway in Q2, significant changes in price trends are expected to emerge in the near future. On the supply side, following the expansion of wet-process separator enterprises, the supply of separators has exceeded demand, with relatively high capacity utilization rates across the board. In the dry-process separator market, due to oversupply, enterprises have voluntarily restricted their capacities, resulting in a relatively balanced supply and demand situation. On the demand side, increased end-user demand downstream has driven an increase in procurement orders from battery cell manufacturers.
