[Titan Mining Reports Q1 2025 Production from U.S.-Based Empire State Mine]
On May 14, Canada’s Titan Mining released its Q1 2025 report, disclosing production results from its Empire State Mine (ESM) located in New York State, USA. During the quarter, mining activities primarily focused on Zone 4, with similar operations expected in Q2. Subsequent development will extend into the N2D zone, where initial production capacity is targeted at 250 tonnes per day, gradually ramping up to 500 tonnes per day in Q3.
The mine aims to reach a nominal capacity of 2,250 tonnes per day by the end of 2025. To support this expansion, ESM began acquiring necessary mining infrastructure and initiated hiring and training efforts for development crews during the quarter.
In Q1 2025, the mine produced approximately 7,060 payable tonnes of zinc in concentrate, representing a 5.9% increase year-on-year but a 28.2% decline quarter-on-quarter.
