A delegation led by Wang Minglei, Chairman of Chifeng Mingyuan Mining Co., Ltd., visited NORTHENG and held discussions with Zhou Yu, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of NORTHENG, as well as key members of the Chehugou Copper-Molybdenum Mine project team in Chifeng. The discussions centered around the engineering design project for the Chehugou Copper-Molybdenum Mine with a capacity of 19.8 million mt/year. The delegation also attended the contract signing ceremony for the Chehugou Copper-Molybdenum Mine project. The Chehugou Copper-Molybdenum Mine is one of the major projects in Songshan District, Chifeng City, actively promoting the "Industrial Doubling Initiative," with proven reserves of approximately 900 million mt. The mine boasts large reserves but low grade, making it one of the undeveloped large-scale low-grade polymetallic ore deposits in China. The total investment in the project is approximately 5 billion yuan, and it will involve the mining and beneficiation of copper, molybdenum, and non-ferrous metals.
