CAAM: China's Automotive Exports to BRI Countries Rise 11.7% YoY in Q1 2025

[CAAM: Cumulative Export Value of China's Automotive Products to BRI Countries Up 11.7% YoY from January to March] According to data compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) from the General Administration of Customs, from January to March 2025, the cumulative export value of China's automotive products to countries along the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) reached USD 32.13 billion, up 11.7% YoY, accounting for 58.4% of the total export value of automotive products. Specifically: - Exports of finished vehicles totaled 1.026 million units, up 20.1% YoY, accounting for 66.7% of the total exports of finished vehicles. - Exports of new energy vehicles (NEVs) reached 299,000 units, up 51.2% YoY, accounting for 51.6% of the total exports of NEVs.
