Calcium Fluoride Prices Decline Amid Weak Demand and Supply Constraints

Currently, the delivery-to-factory prices of 97% calcium fluoride powder for aluminum fluoride enterprises range from 3,450 to 3,700 yuan/mt, with the market fluctuating downward. Supported by mining restrictions and low inventory levels on the supply side, prices have shown resilience against declines. However, on the demand side, weak end-use consumption has exerted pressure, with downstream enterprises showing low acceptance of high-priced calcium fluoride, adopting a wait-and-see attitude and engaging in intense bargaining, leading to sluggish market transactions. SMM data indicates that the average delivery-to-factory price of 97% calcium fluoride powder is 3,583 yuan/mt, a 1.16% decrease from April 7. The market weakness is expected to persist in the short term.
