






Shanghai (Gasgoo)- In April 2025, Great Wall Motor ("GWM") sold 100,061 new vehicles, marking a year-on-year increase of 5.55%. Models priced above 200,000 yuan accounted for 26,360 units, up 2.87% from the previous year, while sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) jumped 28.42% over a year earlier to 28,813 units.
On April 23, GWM showcased its major product lineup across six key brands—HAVAL, WEY, TANK, ORA, Great Wall Pick-up, and SOUO—at the AUTO SHANGHAI 2025. The company used the event to debut its Pan-ICE (internal combustion engine) Strategy, launch a 4.0T V8 engine, and unveil a refreshed corporate logo.
HAVAL led the way with 56,748 units sold in April, a 20.60% year-on-year increase. The second-generation HAVAL Xiaolong MAX hit the market during the month with a limited-time starting price of 116,800 yuan, garnering 16,368-unit pre-orders within 24 hours.
TANK recorded 19,201 units in April sales, bringing its global cumulative total to 663,200 units. Among them, the TANK 300 posted sales of 10,586 units in the month, up 13.46% year-on-year.
ORA sold 1,797 vehicles in April, with its cumulative global sales reaching 518,100 units. During the AUTO SHANGHAI 2025, ORA unveiled the Lightning Cat Wagon in its global debut and announced plans to launch at least two major models in the second half of the year.
Great Wall Pickup achieved April sales of 17,500 units, contributing to a global cumulative volume of 2.7562 million units. The world's first off-road plug-in hybrid pickup, the Shanhai Poer Hi4-T, officially entered pre-sale at the AUTO SHANGHAI 2025. The performance version is priced at 249,800 yuan, while the global version is offered at 228,800 yuan.
At the AUTO SHANGHAI 2025, GWM officially introduced its global-oriented Pan-ICE Strategy, which emphasizes a collaborative approach to internal combustion and electrification. The strategy is designed to deliver energy efficiency, extended range, and multi-scenario adaptability through hybrid technologies, enabling the brand to meet the diverse demands of global markets.
Complementing the new strategy, GWM unveiled its 4.0T V8 engine—one of the show's highlights—further supporting the brand's push into the global high-end off-road segment.
The company also used the event to reveal its new corporate logo. The redesigned emblem adds a "GWM" base to the beacon tower-styled symbol, referencing both the initials of Great Wall Motor and the brand's aspirational slogan, "Go with more," symbolizing its relentless drive forward.
