Šefčovič expressed that negotiating with the US to reach a solution remains the EU's clearest and most desired outcome. Šefčovič said that the EU will utilize the period until July 8, during which tariffs are suspended, to prepare further rebalancing measures and ensure a level playing field in case negotiations fail.
