SHFE Futures Warrants Decline by 3,244 mt on May 6, with Widened BACK Spread

According to the daily report of SHFE warrants, on May 6, 1,425 mt of futures warrants flowed out of the Shanghai region, 149 mt flowed out of the Guangdong region, and 1,670 mt flowed out of the Jiangsu region, totaling 3,244 mt. Currently, the total number of futures warrants stands at 24,922 mt, with the open interest of the SHFE copper 2505 contract at 59,735 lots, showing a significant discrepancy with the number of futures warrants. During the afternoon trading session, the BACK price spread between futures contracts for SHFE copper across months widened to 300 yuan/mt.
