Recently, Ganfeng Group announced on the official account of Shenzhen E-Storage Energy that the construction of the 200MW/400MWh independent shared ESS power station project in Wuqing, Tianjin, has officially commenced. The project is located in the Wuqing Development Zone of the Beijing-Tianjin Industrial New City, with a total investment of approximately 630 million yuan and a floor area of about 31 mu. It is expected to be put into operation by the end of this year, with an annual electricity purchase and sales volume of up to 220 million kWh, achieving an annual output value of 90 million yuan. As a key planned electrochemical ESS project in Wuqing District, Tianjin, the power station combines independence and sharing, with a designed capacity of 200MW/400MWh. After the project is put into operation, it will effectively alleviate the seasonal peak electricity demand pressure in the Wuqing Development Zone by regulating the power grid load and enhancing the consumption capacity of renewable energy, providing power guarantees for the stable production of enterprises in the region. Meanwhile, it will significantly increase the proportion of green electricity, helping the construction of zero-carbon industrial parks reach new heights.
