Polaris ESS Network learned that recently, the EPC tenders for two shared ESS projects in Yunnan were opened, with a total scale of 350MW/700MWh and an average quoted price of approximately 0.758 yuan/Wh. Among them, Yunnan Institute of China Energy Engineering Group won the EPC bid for the 150MW/300MWh ESS power station of China Energy Investment Corporation in Binglie, Wenshan City, at a price of 0.7627 yuan/Wh, while Shanghai Institute of PowerChina won the EPC bid for the 200MW/400MWh shared ESS project of Shenzhen Energy Group in Jinghong, at a price of 0.7505 yuan/Wh.

Polaris ESS Network has learned that recently, the EPC tenders for two shared ESS projects in Yunnan were opened, with a total scale of 350MW/700MWh and an average bid price of approximately 0.758 yuan/Wh. Among them, Yunnan Institute of China Energy Engineering Group won the EPC tender for the 150MW/300MWh ESS power station of China Energy Group in Binglie, Wenshan City, at a price of 0.7627 yuan/Wh, while Shanghai Institute of PowerChina won the EPC tender for the 200MW/400MWh shared ESS project of Shenzhen Energy in Jinghong at a price of 0.7505 yuan/Wh.

It is reported that the China Energy Group's ESS project in Binglie, Wenshan Prefecture, is located in Binglie Yi Ethnic Township, Wenshan City, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The site is situated to the east of the Qingshuijing PV 220kV booster station. The planned installed capacity is 150MW/300MWh. After the ESS is boosted to 35kV through a boost-converter integrated machine, it is transmitted to the newly built 220kV booster station of this project via six collector circuits and finally connected to the Qingshuijing PV 220kV booster station via a 220kV cable circuit. To meet the grid connection requirements of the ESS power station, one 220kV GIS outgoing line bay needs to be expanded at the 220kV Qingshuijing PV booster station (already constructed) in this phase. The expansion will utilize the original 220kV power distribution equipment area and adopt a cable outgoing line method. The EPC tender for this ESS power station includes, but is not limited to, the design and construction of the ESS power station area, the newly built 220kV booster station, roads, 35kV collector circuits, grid connection circuits for the ESS power station, and the expansion and reconstruction of the Qingshuijing booster station, as well as the procurement of equipment and materials.

According to the tender opening results, Yunnan Electric Power Design Institute of China Energy Engineering Group is the first-ranked bid winner, with a bid price of approximately 0.7627 yuan/Wh. The second-ranked bid winner is East China Institute of PowerChina, with a bid price of approximately 0.7772 yuan/Wh.

The 200MW/400MWh shared ESS project of Shenzhen Energy in Jinghong is located in the eastern part of Mengyang Town, Jinghong City, Yunnan Province. It is equipped with 80 sets of 5.015MWh ESS units and a supporting 220kV booster station. After being boosted through a 35kV/220kV transformer, it is connected to the 220kV side of the Banna substation via a 220kV circuit. A bay for the grid connection of the Lvneng Shitouzhai PV project is reserved within the booster station.

Among them, the first-ranked bid winner, Shanghai Institute of PowerChina, offered a price of approximately 0.7505 yuan/Wh, followed by Jiangxi Institute of PowerChina at 0.7514 yuan/Wh, and Hubei Institute of PowerChina at 0.7507 yuan/Wh.
