Iron Ore Prices Rise on May 6, SMM Steel Reports

[SMM Steel] On May 6, the most-traded iron ore contract I2509 opened 5 points higher than the closing price on April 30. Early morning port spot cargoes quotes were 5 yuan/mt higher than the prices before the holiday. In Shandong ports, PB fines were priced at 760-770 yuan/wmt, super special fines at 630-640 yuan/wmt, and IOCJ fines around 850 yuan/wmt. In Caofeidian port, PB fines were priced at 765-775 yuan/wmt. In Jingtang port, PB fines were priced around 770-780 yuan/wmt. (Pricing unit: yuan/wmt).
