On the evening of April 25, Bayi Shikong announced its decision to terminate the construction of the "Project with an Annual Output of 3,000 mt of LiPF6." As of now, approximately 4.9501 million yuan has been invested in the project. In 2022, riding on the wave of the development of the LiPF6 industry, Bayi Shikong planned to enter the lithium battery sector. However, in the past two years, the operating environment of the new energy lithium battery industry has undergone significant changes. With the shift in the supply and demand structure of the lithium battery market, the once-hot market for electrolytes took a sharp downturn, with market prices plummeting, entering a cooling-off period characterized by low prices and severe cut-throat competition in the market. Faced with such a severe situation, although the company had made extensive preparations in the early stages, after reassessing the market environment and conducting a comprehensive evaluation of the project's current positioning and implementation status, the company, after careful consideration and research, decided to terminate the construction of the "Project with an Annual Output of 3,000 mt of LiPF6" to conserve and preserve its strength for better investment in existing projects that have been implemented.
