Piedmont Lithium has released its Q1 2025 operational update for its North Carolina-based NAL project. The report shows spodumene concentrate production reached 43,261 dry metric tons (dmt), representing a 15% quarter-on-quarter decline. Sales volume totaled approximately 27,000 dmt, down 59% from the previous quarter.
While the company achieved record-high recovery rates in March, plant operations experienced weather-related downtime. Despite these challenges, Piedmont maintains its full-year 2025 shipment guidance of 113,000 to 130,000 dmt.
The NAL project continues to serve as a key lithium resource base supporting North America's electric vehicle supply chain. Through process optimization, the operation has maintained strong recovery performance despite weather disruptions.
