[BMW to Launch Six New Car Models of Neue Klasse Within Two Years] On April 28, it was revealed that Dr. Mike Reichelt, head of BMW's Neue Klasse product line, disclosed that BMW will launch six new car models of Neue Klasse within the next two years. These models will be based on the core architecture that underpins BMW's development over the next decade. On the eve of the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, BMW showcased a Neue Klasse driving pleasure concept car, which features multiple innovative technologies, including dual quadrilateral-contour LED headlights, a globally unique fluorescent paint finish, and the "BMW Original Driving Control Super Brain," which integrates the powertrain and chassis domains for the first time, achieving millisecond-level responsiveness. At the launch event, the car successfully climbed a 54° steep slope. Additionally, BMW announced that it will unveil the first China-exclusive Neue Klasse model, the iX3L, during the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, and plans to commence production at its Shenyang plant next year.
