Baofeng Energy Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Projects in Ningdong Base

On April 27, 2025, Baofeng Energy's official account announced that a groundbreaking ceremony for the Baofeng Energy Storage Cathode, Anode, and Electrolyte Plant, as well as the Baofeng Energy Phase IV Olefin New Materials Project, was held at the Ningdong Base. It was reported that the total investment for these projects amounted to 31 billion yuan. Among them, the Baofeng New-Type Energy Storage Cathode, Anode, and Electrolyte Plant project had a total investment of 10.5 billion yuan. The project will accelerate the construction and full production of facilities capable of producing 250,000 mt of LFP cathode materials, 150,000 mt of artificial graphite anode materials, and 170,000 mt of electrolyte materials annually, along with 100 GWh of lithium batteries, energy storage systems, and ESS power stations. This will contribute to establishing a new-type energy storage materials production base in Ningxia that radiates across north-west China and serves the entire country, providing solid support for Ningxia's development into a national new energy comprehensive demonstration zone and "China's Computing Power Hub," as well as for the construction of green electricity parks, large new energy bases, and computing power bases.

In January, national passenger car producers' new energy wholesale estimates reached 900,000 units, up 1% YoY.

According to the latest data from the Passenger Car Association, in December 2025, producers with new energy wholesale sales exceeding 10,000 units accounted for 93% of the total wholesale sales of passenger NEVs that month.
