Fuxi Yicheng Project Commences for Comprehensive Utilisation of By-product Fluorine Resources

Recently, the commencement ceremony for the Fuxi Yicheng Comprehensive Utilisation of By-product Fluorine Resources from Phosphate Fertiliser Production and Industry Chain Extension Project was held ceremoniously. It is understood that the total investment for the first phase of the project is 500 million yuan. Leveraging the fluorine and silicon associated resources from the Yichang phosphorus chemical industry cluster, the project will invest in the construction of production lines along the value-added path of "fluosilicic acid—hydrofluoric acid—fluorine fine chemicals—fluorine electronic chemicals", with an annual production capacity of 20,000 mt of electronic-grade hydrofluoric acid and 30,000 mt of anhydrous aluminum fluoride. It is also expected to synchronously plan high-end product lines such as 20,000 mt of LiPF6, transforming the by-product fluorine resources from phosphate fertiliser production into a "golden track".
