The National Energy Administration held a press conference to release information on the energy situation and the grid connection and operation of renewable energy in Q1. In Q1 2025, the newly added grid-connected capacity of PV nationwide reached 59.71 million kW, with centralized PV accounting for 23.41 million kW and distributed PV accounting for 36.31 million kW. As of the end of March 2025, the nationwide installed PV capacity reached 945 million kW, up 43.4% YoY, with centralized PV installed capacity at 534 million kW and distributed PV at 411 million kW. In Q1 2025, the cumulative nationwide PV power generation amounted to 232.8 billion kWh, up 43.9% YoY, and the PV power generation utilization rate reached 93.6%.
