Thailand, as the core driving force and key engine of economic development in Southeast Asia, has consistently anchored its strategic goal of building a regional automotive manufacturing hub and actively engaged in the wave of new energy transformation with a forward-looking vision.

In recent years, governments of relevant countries in Southeast Asia have adopted systematic policy tools to construct a comprehensive support system covering technology introduction, industrial incubation, and market cultivation through a stimulus policy package, including implementing EV consumption incentive plans, constructing charging infrastructure networks, and optimizing foreign investment access mechanisms. In attracting global capital, Southeast Asia has successfully introduced numerous well-known Chinese NEV enterprises to establish production sites, concurrently introducing cutting-edge technologies such as intelligent connected vehicles and solid-state batteries, thereby propelling industrial clusters to ascend to the high end of the value chain. Through multi-dimensional policy coordination and resource integration, Southeast Asia is accelerating its progress towards becoming a regional innovation hub for the new energy industry, injecting green momentum into the sustainable development of the regional economy.

Against this backdrop, the 2025 SMM 2nd Southeast Asia Automotive Supply Chain Conference will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from June 16-17, 2025. A roundtable forum will be specially organized to jointly explore the possibility of Southeast Asia's linkage in battery materials supply chain - battery cell chemical materials.Yang Shuzhan, Deputy General Manager of BTR Group and Chairman of BTR Indonesia, will participate in the forum. We sincerely invite industry elites to jointly discuss these challenges and opportunities and work together to promote the prosperity and development of the automotive industry in Southeast Asia and beyond.
