According to "Jiuzhai Release", on April 23, the "World Jiuzhaigou, Beautiful Aba Prefecture" Beijing Investment Cooperation Promotion Conference and Project Signing Ceremony, hosted by the People's Government of Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, was held in Beijing. At the event, Jiuzhaigou County, Sichuan Province, successfully signed a new-type power system standalone ESS project with Beijing Goldwind Zero Carbon Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Goldwind Zero Carbon).
It was introduced that the new-type power system standalone ESS project signed between Jiuzhaigou County, Sichuan Province, and Beijing Goldwind Zero Carbon Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Goldwind Zero Carbon) has a total investment of 460 million yuan. It adopts internationally leading new-type lithium battery technology to build an ESS power station with a capacity of 100MW/400MWh in the Jiuzhai-Mianyang Industrial Park, Sichuan Province. It is expected to generate over 200 million kWh of peak shaving electricity annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 180,000 mt.
According to available information, Goldwind Zero Carbon was established on December 29, 2022, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Goldwind Science&Technology (002202).
