The Ministry of Transport and nine other departments issued guidelines on promoting the integrated development of transport and energy. The guidelines require that the proportion of NEVs in new vehicles be increased year by year by 2027, and that by 2035, the majority of newly sold vehicles be pure EVs, with the large-scale application of new energy heavy-duty trucks in operation.
