【Racing Towards Solid-State Battery Delivery, Equipment and Technology Synergy Deepens】Since 2024, the industrialisation of solid-state batteries has accelerated, with significant depth in the synergy between equipment and technology. On April 22, Yifei Laser and Jinyu New Energy signed a strategic cooperation agreement, which will involve comprehensive collaboration in the R&D of solid-state battery equipment and process optimisation. Prior to this, several companies have also reached similar agreements to overcome process challenges and accelerate mass production. Solid-state batteries are making strides in multi-scenario commercial applications, with products from companies like Jinyu New Energy being introduced in bulk into the small mobile end-use market, and there have also been reports of installations in sectors such as shipping. Numerous solid-state battery companies have planned GWh-scale capacity, which is expected to ramp up and scale in 2025. The collaboration between Yifei Laser and Jinyu New Energy will work on technology, processes, products, and manufacturing levels to propel solid-state batteries into the market.
