The partnership aims to accelerate the deployment of intelligent automotive technologies and promote industrial upgrading.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 23, during the AUTO SHANGHAI 2025, Beijing NavInfo Technology Co., Ltd. ("NavInfo") and Shenzhen Hangsheng Electronics Co., Ltd. ("HSAE") signed a strategic cooperation agreement to conduct in-depth collaboration across assisted driving systems, smart cockpits, big data platforms, and manufacturing. The partnership aims to accelerate the deployment of intelligent automotive technologies and promote industrial upgrading.

NavInfo and HSAE will combine their respective strengths to jointly build a robust technology ecosystem. NavInfo brings leading capabilities in core assisted driving technologies, smart cockpits, chip design, high-precision positioning, and AI infrastructure. HSAE, with decades of experience in automotive electronics hardware and software design and manufacturing, excels in smart cockpits, cockpit-driving integration, acoustic and control electronics, and boasts a mature supply chain and large-scale production capabilities.

The two companies will establish a joint product development entity to focus on next-generation chip co-definition, integrated assisted driving systems, coordinated smart cockpit software and hardware, AI large model applications, and high-precision positioning services. This initiative is designed to accelerate innovation commercialization and deliver competitive solutions to the market.

In particular, the agreement emphasizes deep collaboration on innovative products. In the chip domain, NavInfo and HSAE will jointly define, develop, and promote next-gen chips, explore new models for industrial innovation, and coordinate efforts to advance both technology and market presence.

In the field of driver assistance, the companies aim to rapidly scale their technical strengths, while also co-developing cockpit-driving fusion technologies. By exploring deeper software-hardware integration, they plan to offer OEMs cost-effective, high-performance solutions.

For the smart cockpit sector, both sides will engage in joint development of software applications, cloud services, and AI model integration to deliver solutions closely aligned with evolving user demands. HSAE's advanced manufacturing capabilities will also provide high-quality production support for NavInfo, enabling faster scaling of output and improved delivery efficiency while optimizing costs.

Together, NavInfo and HSAE aim to create end-to-end synergy across the R&D, production, and delivery value chain. The alliance positions both companies as key players in the restructured smart vehicle supply chain, building full-lifecycle competitiveness from development to recycling.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
