Baolong Automotive, JOYNEXT form strategic alliance to advance smart mobility solutions

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 24, at the AUTO SHANGHAI 2025, Baolong Automotive and JOYNEXT officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, aiming to jointly accelerate the transformation of the intelligent vehicle industry and deliver safer, smarter, and more personalized mobility experiences.

Under the agreement, the two companies will focus on advancing technologies related to L2 to L4 assisted driving and smart cockpits. By leveraging their respective strengths, they plan to achieve resource sharing and complementary capabilities while promoting cross-domain applications of related technologies in vehicle-to-everything (V2X), low-altitude economy, and robotics.

JOYNEXT, a subsidiary of Joyson Electronics, is headquartered in China and operates across Germany, Poland, France, the United States, Japan, and other markets. With more than two decades of experience as a Tier-1 supplier to global OEMs, JOYNEXT maintains long-term partnerships with leading automotive brands including Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, NIO, and HiPhi. The company offers integrated hardware and software solutions across intelligent cockpits, smart connectivity, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and software engineering services, with its technologies deployed in over 20 million vehicles worldwide. It currently runs seven R&D centers, three global manufacturing bases, and seven customer hubs, employing more than 1,600 staff members globally.

Baolong Automotive is a global provider of intelligent and lightweight automotive technology solutions, with nine production campuses, 19 factories, 11 R&D centers, and nine nationally certified labs across China, North America, and Europe. Employing over 7,500 people worldwide, the company has built a comprehensive presence in the intelligent driving sector. Its independently developed product portfolio includes 77GHz millimeter-wave radars, high-definition cameras of various types, and ultrasonic sensors, which are supplied to major automakers such as Chery, SAIC MOTOR Passenger Vehicle, Dongfeng Nissan, BYD, and Changan Automobile.
