Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA)'s "Five Realms" made their first simultaneous appearance at the auto show, and "Qiankun" became one of the key themes at the press conferences of several automakers, further expanding Huawei's presence in the automotive sector.

"Today's HIMA is like the five fingers of a hand, which will become very powerful when clenched into a fist," said Yu Chengdong, Huawei's Executive Director and Chairman of the Consumer BG, at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, describing the significance of the gathering of the "Five Realms." At this auto show, HIMA showcased its eight car models for the first time, including the AITO M5, M7, M8, and M9; the LUXEED S7 and R7; the STELATO S9; and the Zunjie S800.

Meanwhile, at the SAIC Group's booth, the "Fifth Realm" of HIMA, Shangjie, took center stage. It was revealed that the first car model under the Shangjie brand has completed its final review and is expected to be launched in Q3 this year. Yu Chengdong stated on-site that he believes the first Shangjie model will be a hot seller upon its release. "(SAIC) must ensure sufficient capacity is prepared."

As HIMA's products enter a phase of upgrade and iteration, Huawei Qiankun is also accelerating the expansion of its business scope and depth.

One day before the auto show, Jin Yuzhi, CEO of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, announced the official release of Huawei Qiankun ADS 4's high-speed L3 commercial solution, marking the readiness for the formal commercialization of high-speed L3. Key executives from 11 major automakers, including Seres, Beijing Electric Vehicle, JAC Group, SAIC Group, Deepal, Dongfeng Mengshi, and Audi China, were present at the event.

"Deepal will not become the sixth realm of HIMA but will focus on being a good partner," said Deng Chenghao, CEO of Deepal, at the auto show. On April 23, Deepal and Huawei Qiankun jointly launched the Deepal S09, which will feature the Harmony cockpit and is expected to upgrade to Huawei Qiankun's intelligent driving system ADS 4 in Q2 this year.

The intelligent off-road vehicle Mengshi M817, co-developed by Dongfeng Mengshi Technology and Huawei, also made its debut. The vehicle adopts Huawei's full-stack intelligent solution and will be among the first to be equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 4. While deepening its collaboration with Huawei Qiankun, Dongfeng Mengshi is also accelerating the rollout of more car models. At this auto show, the Dongfeng Mengshi Lorinser M900 Starfighter and the extended version of the Jiaolong Armor were launched and began deliveries, with guidance prices starting at 1.288 million yuan and 1.098 million yuan, respectively.

As the only foreign brand currently collaborating with Huawei Qiankun, Audi's latest move has drawn significant attention. The third car model developed by Audi FAW NEV, the Audi A6L e-tron, made its global debut at the auto show. "(The Audi A6L e-tron) is equipped with Huawei Qiankun technology, featuring a dual-lidar and visual fusion perception solution, enabling map-free L2-level combined driving assistance," said Shi Ruizhe, CEO of Audi FAW NEV.

"Whether it's the 'Five Realms' or the collaborative car models with Huawei Qiankun, enhancing capacity and ensuring smooth deliveries are top priorities. The level of coordination between automakers and Huawei is crucial," analyzed an industry insider.
