Iron Ore Inventory Declines at Chinese Ports, Driven by Rising Pig Iron Production

According to the SMM survey, the total inventory at 10 ports on April 24 was 104.76 million mt, down 590,000 mt MoM. According to SMM's tracking, the recent pig iron production from blast furnaces continued to rise, driving port cargo pick-up and further inventory decline, with the destocking of coarse powder being particularly notable.
