Zinc Ingot Inventories Decline in Seven Regions Monitored by SMM

Published: Apr 24, 2025 13:17
According to SMM communication, as of Thursday, April 24, the total zinc ingot inventory in seven regions monitored by SMM was 85,800 mt, a decrease of 14,200 mt compared to April 17 and a reduction of 7,200 mt compared to April 21, indicating a decline in domestic inventory. In Shanghai and Guangdong, the inventory decreased due to fewer arrivals during the week. In Tianjin, arrivals slightly increased, but downstream restocking demand slowed as previous purchases were relatively high, resulting in relatively small inventory changes.
