Solid-State Battery: Environmental Impact Assessment for 6,000 mt Lithium Sulfide Project
On April 8, 2025, the Weifang Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment recently released the "List of Environmental Impact Assessment Documents for Construction Projects Accepted in April 2025 (III)", which includes the project of Shandong Dayao Special Materials Co., Ltd. for the annual production of 26,000 mt of high-performance zinc sulfide and 6,000 mt of high-purity lithium sulfide solid-state battery ESS materials. The project is divided into two phases, with each phase having a construction period of 24 months. The first phase is expected to commence construction in May 2025 and is scheduled to be completed in April 2027. The second phase is expected to commence construction in May 2027 and is scheduled to be completed in April 2029.
