According to data from the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAŞ), Turkey's total solar installed capacity reached 21,620 MW by the end of March. This figure indicates a strong start for Turkey's solar deployment in 2025, compared to the cumulative installed capacity of 19.8 GW by the end of 2024. The recently released "Turkish Electricity Review" noted that Turkey is experiencing a surge in solar installations, with a total of 8.9 GW of new solar capacity added in 2023 and 2024, representing an 82% increase from the end of 2022.
