The 300MW Distributed PV Project Tender Was Terminated!

Published: Apr 24, 2025 09:05

Recently, Gangneng (Zhenxiong) New Energy Co., Ltd. issued a notice of bid cancellation for the 2024 distributed PV power station project general contracting tender, and its 300MW distributed PV EPC project cooperation was terminated.

According to the notice, due to the impact of national policy adjustments on the construction of distributed PV power stations, the bid inviter and bid winner of the 2024 distributed PV power station project general contracting tender by Gangneng (Zhenxiong) were unable to sign the contract as stipulated in the tender documents before the new national policy on distributed PV power station construction was issued. After mutual communication, both parties agreed to terminate the cooperation for this project without holding each other accountable. The bid for this project was canceled.

According to public information, the tender for this project was launched in December 2024, with plans to construct a 300MW distributed PV project in Jianshan Township, Muzhuo Town, Shanshu Township, Hualangduo; Wude Town, Puji Town, Luokan Town, Chishuiyuan Town; Jiufu Subdistrict; Niuchang Town; Yigu Town; and Yile Town in Zhenxiong County, Zhaotong City. The project was won by China Railway Tunnel Group Electromechanical Engineering Co., Ltd. and its consortium, Shanghai Urban Construction Design & Research Institute.

[SMM PV News] Armenia Hits 1.1 GW Solar Capacity,
Armenia’s cumulative solar capacity has surged to 1.1 GW following the addition of approximately 615 MW in 2025. This rapid expansion has pushed solar's share of electricity generation to around 15%, effectively meeting the country's 2030 target years ahead of schedule. The growth is heavily driven by a net-metering scheme supporting over 50,000 autonomous producers (totaling 650 MW), though the government ended loan subsidies for rooftop solar in July to shift focus toward battery storage.
