CCIE 2025: Award Ceremony of 2025 SMM Top 10 Outstanding Copper Billet Suppliers

Amid increasing global economic downward pressure, the copper billet market faces challenges, caught in a dilemma of dual pressures from raw material supply and downstream demand. On the supply side, domestic manufacturing activity remains sluggish, with secondary copper recycling constrained by dynamic policy adjustments and an imperfect recycling system, coupled with high reliance on imported secondary copper, leading to a prominent supply-demand imbalance. On the demand side, as the copper billet market is deeply tied to the real estate industry, with the real estate market still in a deep adjustment phase, downstream demand in sectors like plumbing and sanitary ware has significantly contracted, with only the refrigeration industry maintaining stable order growth. Although the emerging new energy market holds vast potential, high technical barriers limit access to only a few enterprises, making it difficult to drive overall industry demand growth in the short term. Currently, raw material shortages are driving up copper prices, while weak end-user demand forces downstream buyers to bargain down purchasing prices, severely squeezing the profit margins of copper billet enterprises. Facing the industry's "winter," copper billet enterprises urgently need to accurately grasp the evolving supply landscape of secondary copper and industry trends, scientifically formulate strategic plans, and accumulate development momentum to navigate the industry trough and usher in a recovery.

To address the industry's challenges, invigorate market vitality, and enhance corporate core competitiveness, SMM Information & Technology Co., Ltd. (SMM) established the SMM Outstanding Copper Billet Supplier Evaluation Committee and launched the "2025 SMM Top 10 Outstanding Copper Billet Suppliers" selection event. This initiative aims to promote the healthy and orderly development of the copper billet processing industry, set industry benchmarks, disseminate the advanced experiences and exemplary practices of outstanding enterprises, strengthen industry cohesion, and support the industry's high-quality development and comprehensive leap in core competitiveness.

After evaluation by an expert panel composed of relevant industry leaders, experts, and representatives from upstream and downstream enterprises, nominated companies were scored by experts, combined with online voting results and SMM's enterprise rating model offline scores across multiple dimensions, ultimately selecting the "2025 SMM Top 10 Outstanding Copper Billet Suppliers." The grand award ceremony was held at the CCIE 2025 SMM (20th) Copper Industry Conference & Copper Industry Expo, which was hosted by SMM, SMM Metal Trading Center, and Shandong AIS Information Technology Co., Ltd., with Jiangxi Copper Corporation and Yingtan Land Port Holding Co., Ltd. as the main sponsors, Shandong Humon Smelting Co., Ltd. as the specially invited co-organizer, and Xinhuang Group and Zhongtiaoshan Nonferrous Metals Group Co., Ltd. as co-organizers.
