【SMM Flash: Rare Earth Permanent Magnet Exports Showed Significant Growth YoY and MoM in March】According to data from the General Administration of Customs, rare earth permanent magnet exports in March reached approximately 5,325 mt, up 49% MoM and 27% YoY. From January to March, the total exports of rare earth permanent magnets reached 15,266 mt, up 19% YoY. It is expected that rare earth permanent magnet exports will decrease significantly in April due to the impact of rare earth export control policies.

【SMM Rare Earth Flash】 ASX-listed Critica announced an updated mineral resource for its Jupiter rare earth project in Western Australia, with a maiden Indicated resource of 160 Mt at 0.17% TREO, representing 10% of total resources. The Inferred resource stands at 1.7 Bt at 0.17% TREO. Magnet rare earths (Pr, Nd, Dy, Tb) account for up to 25% of TREO in the Indicated portion. CEO Jacob Deysel said the maiden Indicated resource is a key milestone, confirming targeted infill drilling and improving geological confidence. Jupiter is part of the 1,700 km² Brothers project, with a scoping study nearing completion.

For medium-heavy rare earths, the continued weakness in terbium metal prices warrants attention as to whether it will further transmit to the oxide side.
