Cleantech Lithium and chemical giant DuPont have recently announced a collaboration to promote the application of nanofiltration technology in lithium extraction processes. This innovative membrane-based separation technology enables highly efficient lithium recovery from brine or recycled solutions, significantly reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions compared to traditional evaporation methods while improving lithium recovery rates.
The partners plan to deploy this technology in lithium-rich regions such as Chile to support the development of sustainable lithium supply chains. This strategic cooperation represents a major step forward in eco-friendly lithium production technologies.
