Pylontech was pre-selected for the procurement of a 40MW/80MWh energy storage system for the Jiangsu Huadian Yizheng centralized wind and solar power energy storage allocation project.

Polaris Energy Storage Network learned that on April 21, the list of winning candidates for the 40MW/80MWh energy storage system of the 120MW/240MWh wind and solar power centralized ESS power station project in Yizheng, Jiangsu, was announced.

The first winning candidate was Shanghai Pylon Energy Technology Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 44.873 million yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 0.561 yuan/Wh.

The second winning candidate was Anhui Topsun Energy Technology Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 41.813 million yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 0.523 yuan/Wh.

The third winning candidate was Beijing HyperStrong Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 46.4 million yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 0.58 yuan/Wh.

According to the tender announcement, the bid inviter was China Energy Engineering Group Jiangsu Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. The project is located in Yizheng City, Jiangsu Province, and the procurement content is a 40MW/80MWh energy storage system. Bidders or their represented manufacturers were required to have at least two LFP energy storage system integration and supply projects with a capacity of no less than 100MWh within the past three years (from January 1, 2022, to the deadline for submitting response documents, with the time based on the contract signing date).
