Spot Prices of #1 Copper Cathode Fluctuate in North China

In North China today, spot prices of #1 copper cathode against the front-month contract ranged from a discount of 50 yuan/mt to a premium of 30 yuan/mt, with an average discount of 10 yuan/mt, down 10 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. Transaction prices were between 76,850 and 77,160 yuan/mt, with an average of 77,005 yuan/mt, up 630 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. Market activity was relatively low.
