China's Export Scale of Ternary Cathode Precursor Continues to Pull Back

According to data from the General Administration of Customs of China, the total exports of ternary cathode precursors in March 2025 reached 4,893.58 mt, down 636.26 mt MoM, a decline of 11.51%; and down 8,377.95 mt YoY, a decline of 63.13%. Among them, Ni-Co-Mn hydroxide exports were 4,848.58 mt, down 12.32% MoM and 61.02% YoY; Ni-Co-Al hydroxide exports were 45 mt.

From January to March 2025, China's total exports of ternary cathode precursors were 16,999.22 mt, down 54.8% YoY. Since Q2 last year, China's ternary cathode precursor exports have maintained a downward trend, with the export scale in March 2025 hitting a five-year low.
