China's Primary Aluminum Imports Rose 10.88% MoM in March, Breakdown of Data

Data from the Customs Statistics Online Query Platform showed that China's primary aluminum imports in March 2025 reached 222,062.7 mt, up 10.88% MoM but down 10.96% YoY.

Russia was the largest supplier, with primary aluminum imports from Russia in the month totaling 201,266.171 mt, up 14.12% MoM and up 74.05% YoY.

India was the second-largest supplier, with primary aluminum imports from India in the month reaching 8,686.805 mt, up 15.33% MoM but down 64.97% YoY.

The following is a breakdown of primary aluminum imports in March 2025 based on data from the General Administration of Customs website:

Note: 1. Primary aluminum includes unwrought non-alloy aluminum with an aluminum content ≥99.95% and unwrought non-alloy aluminum with an aluminum content <99.95%;
