China's Aluminum Scrap Imports Increased 11.61% MoM in March, Breakdown of Sub-Data

Data from the Customs Statistics Online Query Platform showed that China's aluminum scrap imports in March 2025 reached 183,518.102 mt, up 11.61% MoM but down 0.75% YoY. Thailand was the largest supplier, with aluminum scrap imports from Thailand totaling 53,188.403 mt, up 5.18% MoM and 116.95% YoY. Japan was the second largest supplier, with aluminum scrap imports from Japan reaching 20,961.85 mt, up 30.26% MoM and 3.86% YoY. Below is a breakdown of aluminum scrap imports in March 2025 based on data from the General Administration of Customs of China:
