Guinean Supply Increased by Over 20%, China's Bauxite Imports in March Hit a Five-Year High

According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China's bauxite (aluminum ore and its concentrates) imports in March 2025 reached 16,465,721 mt, up 14.26% MoM and 39.06% YoY, setting a new monthly high since February 2020. Among them, the largest supplier, Guinea, saw its shipments increase by over 20% MoM to 12,999,217 mt, firmly securing its top position with an absolute advantage.
