[70-Minute Full Charge: China's First 1,000 kW Battery-Powered Locomotives Roll Off Production Line in Dalian]
China's first batch of 1,000 kW battery-powered locomotives officially rolled off the production line at CRRC Dalian Company. The initial 10 battery-powered locomotives will be used in steel production. The newly launched locomotives are equipped with large-power LFP power batteries and utilize liquid-cooled fast charging technology, achieving an ultra-high power charging capacity of 680 kW, allowing a full charge in just 70 minutes. The locomotives are pre-equipped with unmanned intelligent transport mode, capable of simulating the operating habits of experienced drivers to achieve unmanned intelligent transport. The auxiliary lookout system, synchronously installed, can expand the driver's field of vision, compensate for the limitations of traditional visual observation, and eliminate blind spots. The digital flat shunting system integrated into the locomotives enhances operational efficiency, safety, and intelligence through the integration of wireless communication, positioning technology, electronic maps, and automated control.
