Aluminum Ingot Inventory Declines in Key Regions, SMM Forecasts Further Reduction by Month-End

According to SMM statistics, the aluminum ingot inventory in Guangdong was 238,000 mt on April 21, while the inventory in Wuxi was 224,800 mt, and the inventory in Gongyi was 90,000 mt. The total inventory in these three regions was 552,800 mt, a decrease of 2,600 mt compared to the previous trading day. SMM believes that destocking in east China remains stable, and the national inventory continued to decline in late April. SMM expects the daily aluminum ingot inventory in the three regions to pull back to around 500,000 mt by month-end.
