South Korea's Domestic Auto Sales Rose 2.4% YoY in March According to foreign media reports, South Korea's domestic auto sales in March increased by 2.4% YoY to 149,512 units, while local auto production also rose by 1.5% YoY to 370,836 units. However, due to sluggish domestic economic growth and high consumer debt levels, the overall demand for new cars in South Korea remained weak. In Q1, the domestic auto sales of South Korea's top five local automakers grew by less than 2% YoY to 327,550 units.
