XPeng Motors Accelerates Its Global Expansion Strategy. Chinese EV manufacturer XPeng Motors is rapidly advancing its global expansion plan. Recently, XPeng Motors held the global launch event for its first flagship car model, the X9 MPV, in Hong Kong, attracting over 800 journalists and EV owners from 30 countries and regions. Shortly before this, XPeng Motors announced plans to localize production in the Indonesian market and establish an R&D center in Germany. He Xiaopeng, founder and CEO of XPeng Motors, stated in a media interview that the company's global expansion pace remains steady. "It is certain that Europe has clearly started implementing tariff measures," he said. "For XPeng's global journey, we believe that only through localization, including local R&D, local services, local production, and local sales, can true internationalization be achieved.
