According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China's exports of copper enamelled wire in March 2025 reached 12,508.09 mt, up 29.53% YoY and up 70.57% MoM. From January to March, China's exports of copper enamelled wire totaled 32,038.86 mt, with a cumulative YoY increase of 22.87%. (HS code 85441100)
In March, the export market for copper enamelled wire in China remained active, with total exports reaching a record high. Specifically, in March 2025, China's copper enamelled wire exports covered 152 countries and regions. Among them, exports to Vietnam and Japan were 2,028 mt and 1,623 mt, up 15.69% and 29.32% YoY respectively, ranking first and second in export volume. The quantity of copper enamelled wire exported to South Korea surpassed that to Thailand, with a 60.84% increase, ranking third. Meanwhile, exports to Turkey, Mexico, and Germany grew rapidly, with Turkey's increase reaching as high as 106.81%. However, exports to the Philippines, the US, and Indonesia decreased to varying degrees. Notably, exports to the US fell by 10.24% YoY, and due to tariff policies, the quantity of enamelled wire exported to the US may continue to decline in the future.
