Aluminum Ingot Inventory Declines in Major Domestic Consumption Areas, SMM Reports

According to SMM statistics, the inventory of aluminum ingots in major domestic consumption areas stood at 673,000 mt on April 21, down 16,000 mt WoW from last Thursday and 51,000 mt WoW from last Monday. SMM believes that destocking in east China remains stable, and national inventory continued to decline in late April. SMM expects domestic aluminum ingot inventory to pull back to around 620,000-650,000 mt by month-end.
