【Jiangsu Plans 95,000-Ton Lithium Battery Recycling Project】Recently, the Yancheng Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau in Jiangsu Province officially announced the acceptance of the environmental impact assessment report for a high-value recycling project targeting spent lithium-ion batteries. The project will have an annual processing capacity of 30,000 tons of spent lithium batteries (including 20,000 tons for regeneration and 10,000 tons for tiered sorting), 10,000 tons of positive/negative electrode scraps, 15,000 tons of electrode/battery material powder, 20,000 tons of nickel hydroxide (a semi-processed product in the battery material supply chain, non-hazardous), and 20,000 tons of cobalt hydroxide (a semi-processed product in the battery material supply chain, non-hazardous).
