Jiangsu 95,000 mt Lithium Battery Recycling Project to Be Launched Recently, the Environmental Protection Bureau of Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province officially announced the acceptance of the environmental impact report for the "High-value Resource Recycling Project of Scrap Lithium-ion Batteries" by Jiangsu Tianneng New Materials Co., Ltd. The project will ultimately achieve an annual processing capacity of 30,000 mt of scrap lithium batteries (including 20,000 mt for regeneration and 10,000 mt for cascade sorting), 10,000 mt of positive/negative electrode off-cuts, 15,000 mt of electrode/battery material powder, 20,000 mt of nickel hydroxide (a rough-processed product in the battery materials industry chain, excluding hazardous waste), and 20,000 mt of cobalt hydroxide (a rough-processed product in the battery materials industry chain, excluding hazardous waste).
