【SMM Iron Ore Shipping Data】Global Shipments Slightly Decreased, Port Arrivals Significantly Dropped

SMM's global iron ore shipments totaled 31.32 million mt, down slightly by 1.2% MoM. Shipments from Australia and Brazil increased slightly, while those from non-mainstream mines dropped significantly. SMM's China iron ore port arrivals amounted to 21.6 million mt, down sharply by 25.3% MoM and 4.1% YoY. By product type, port arrivals of lump ore, fine ore, concentrate, and pellets all declined this week.
