Within two days, two consecutive new product launches have repeatedly pushed related terms of the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) to the top of trending searches across various platforms, while Huawei's "Five Realms" also completed their first centralized "card deal."

On April 17, HIMA took advantage of the momentum to launch new car models at the "LUXEED Brand Night." According to Richard Yu, Huawei's Executive Director and Chairman of the Consumer Business Group, the LUXEED R7 extended-range large battery version and the LUXEED S7 Ultra sports version are priced starting at 299,800 yuan and 329,800 yuan, respectively. Additionally, a "policy for existing owners" was introduced for the LUXEED S7, including free upgrades for rear seats, free replacement of air filters, and free software upgrades for the current car system.

At the HIMA new product launch the previous day, the AITO M8, the new AITO M7 in the Muye Green color, and the STELATO S9 extended-range version were simultaneously released. The former achieved a record of over 32,000 pre-orders within 24 hours. With a reference of 150,000 small orders, the final conversion rate for the AITO M8 is expected to be quite impressive. Furthermore, the interior of the Zunjie S800 will make its debut at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, which opens on April 23.

The owner of an AITO M8 owner group told reporters that the AITO M8 pre-order owner group exceeded 100 people by midnight on the launch day, with a conversion rate close to 50%.

As the "grand finale," Richard Yu announced the official launch of the "Shangjie" brand at the end of the press conference following the introduction of the AITO M8 and other new cars. "(Huawei and SAIC) will fully leverage their respective strengths, work together, and jointly create a new generation of new energy intelligent vehicles, providing users with a more understanding, intelligent, and reliable travel experience. With the addition of SAIC Shangjie, the HIMA landscape will be further expanded to meet more diverse and extensive market demands," Yu stated.

According to Yu, the first model of the Shangjie brand will be launched this fall, and both Huawei and SAIC will "all in" on this project. Reporters learned that the Shangjie project has long been upgraded to a key project within SAIC, with a strategic height comparable to, or even higher than, previous joint ventures.

Jia Jianxu, President of SAIC, explained that leveraging 70 years of car manufacturing experience and a user base of nearly 100 million, SAIC will integrate the group's high-quality resources to fully support SAIC Shangjie in possessing top-tier quality genes and technical capabilities from its inception. "SAIC has initially invested 6 billion yuan, formed a dedicated team of over 5,000 people, and will build a dedicated super factory for Shangjie in Shanghai."

In addition to new brands and models, HIMA's upgrade to its intelligent driving system is also entering the countdown phase. According to the plan, models such as the AITO M8, AITO M9, and STELATO S9 extended-range version will collectively upgrade to Huawei ADS 4.0 in Q3 this year. Meanwhile, foreign brands will also begin to adopt Huawei's ADS intelligent driving system.

At the end of March, at the 2025 China EV100 Forum, Roland Busch, President of Audi China, revealed that Audi is integrating China-specific functions and technologies through its global technology platform, such as introducing Huawei's ADS intelligent driving system into the PPC and PPE platforms.
